Bot Modes

Trojan Bot offers two different interface modes to suit different trading styles and experience levels.

Advanced Mode vs. Simple Mode

By default, Trojan Bot starts in Advanced Mode. You can switch between modes in the Settings menu.

Advanced Mode

Provides full access to all features and functionality, including:

  • Limit orders and DCA strategies
  • Copy trading functionality
  • Detailed token information
  • Advanced order options

Recommended for: Experienced traders who want maximum control and access to advanced features.

Simple Mode

Offers a streamlined, easy-to-use interface focused on:

  • Quick buy and sell functionality
  • Simplified menu navigation
  • Basic position management
  • Faster execution with fewer clicks

Recommended for: New users or those who prefer a cleaner, more straightforward trading experience.

Note: Simple mode will always have Confirm Trades set to OFF (red), meaning trades will execute immediately when you select an amount.

Priority Gas Settings

Gas priority fees are paid to the network to prioritize your transactions for faster execution. Higher fees generally result in faster confirmations, which can be crucial in volatile markets.

Available Options

  • Fast: 0.0015 SOL per transaction
  • Turbo: 0.0075 SOL per transaction
  • Custom: Set your own priority fee

When to Use Each Setting

Setting When to Use Trade-offs
Fast Regular trading in normal market conditions Economical, but may be slower during network congestion
Turbo Highly competitive trades or volatile market conditions Higher cost but significantly faster execution
Custom When you need precise control over priority fees Requires knowledge of current network conditions
Important: Gas priority fees are paid to the network even if your transaction fails. Always ensure you have enough SOL to cover your priority fee plus a buffer for network fees.

MEV Protection

MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) Protection shields your transactions from front-running and other forms of exploitation by validators and arbitrage bots.

How It Works

When enabled, Trojan Bot uses JITO Slots to make your transactions private, ensuring they can't be detected in the mempool and can't be front-run by MEV bots.

Configuration Options

  • MEV Protection for Buys: Toggle on/off to enable/disable protection for buy transactions
  • MEV Protection for Sells: Toggle on/off to enable/disable protection for sell transactions
Note: Approximately only 30% of Validators provide MEV Protected private transactions (JITO Slots), which can slow down your transaction speed. If transaction speed is your absolute priority, you might consider disabling this feature.

MEV Protection and Validator Tips

When using MEV Protection, Trojan will use your gas settings to dynamically pay validator tips to properly prioritize your transaction. If JITO slot access becomes more competitive, you may need to raise your gas settings if you experience transaction timeouts.

Buy Settings

Customize your buy menu for faster execution with your preferred trading parameters.

Custom Buy Amounts

You can set custom SOL amounts that will appear as options in your buy menu. This allows you to quickly select your most commonly used trading amounts.

  • Configure up to 6 custom SOL values
  • Your first two custom amounts will also appear as quick-access buttons in the positions menu

Default Slippage

Set your preferred default slippage percentage for buy transactions. The default is 15%, but you can adjust this based on:

  • Token volatility (higher volatility may require higher slippage)
  • Liquidity depth (lower liquidity may require higher slippage)
  • Token specifics (tokens with taxes or transfer limits may require higher slippage)

Sell Settings

Customize your sell menu for faster execution with your preferred trading parameters.

Custom Sell Percentages

You can set custom sell percentages that will appear as options in your sell menu. This allows you to quickly select your most commonly used selling proportions.

  • Configure up to 6 custom percentage values
  • Your first two custom percentages will also appear as quick-access buttons in the positions menu

Default Slippage

Set your preferred default slippage percentage for sell transactions. The default is 15%, but you can adjust this based on the same factors as buy slippage.

Automation Features

Auto Buy

The Auto Buy feature automatically initiates a buy when you send a token address or link to the bot. This is useful for quickly entering positions without having to go through multiple confirmation steps.

Auto Buy Configuration Options:

  • Pre-set Buy Amount: Set the amount of SOL to use for each Auto Buy
  • Slippage: Set your preferred slippage for Auto Buy transactions
  • Min Liquidity Amount (Optional): Set a minimum liquidity threshold that must be met before Auto Buy will execute
  • Max Market Cap (Optional): Set a maximum market cap threshold that must not be exceeded for Auto Buy to execute
Note: To reset any of these parameters, enter "none" in the respective setting.

Auto Sell

The Auto Sell feature automatically sets limit sell orders based on your predefined strategy for any swap or Auto Buy. This allows you to secure profits or limit losses without constant monitoring.

Auto Sell Configuration Options:

  • Take Profit (TP) Orders: Set multiple price targets for partial or complete profit-taking
  • Stop Loss (SL) Orders: Set a price threshold for cutting losses (indicated by a negative percentage)
  • Slippage: Set your preferred slippage for Auto Sell transactions

Example strategy:

  • Stop Loss: -20% with 100% of tokens (exit entire position if price drops 20%)
  • Take Profit 1: +50% with 50% of tokens (sell half when price increases 50%)
  • Take Profit 2: +100% with 30% of tokens (sell another 30% when price doubles)
  • Take Profit 3: +200% with 20% of tokens (sell remaining 20% when price triples)

Other Settings

This setting determines whether you need to explicitly confirm transactions before they are sent to the network.

  • ON (Green): You will be required to click buy or sell to confirm before sending a transaction
  • OFF (Red): Transactions will be sent immediately after selecting your amount to buy or percentage to sell

PnL Values

Controls whether your dollar and SOL values are displayed on PnL cards when sharing them.

  • ON (Green): PnL cards will show your dollar and SOL values
  • OFF (Red): PnL cards will not show your dollar and SOL values (for privacy)

Chart Preview
